Leaving Kent Coastal Cruising' via Smyrna-Leipsic Rd headed West.
Reach LUCKY Route 13 in about 4.6 miles. Turn North then turn Left onto South Main Street. At stop light turn
left and pull into the Library parking lot. Walk back to the corner of South Main and East South Street. [PULLED due to re-landscaping APR2010]
Pausing at a cypress tree at the parking lot corner house.
Pull the box out from under the tree and take it to the bench on the corner. This Monyloop Theater Box performers would
be right at home upstairs.

Return to Route 13 and head South.
Go 8.9 miles to the light at Dover Downs. Staying in the far left
lane, go left at the flag and follow gravel path ---in your car. But don't come weeping to me if you first went in and
tango'd with the one-arm bandits. [MIA]
The Monyloop Resort Box was under the sandy pondliner covered
with willow leaves. Best Buy looms in the background.

As you exit Dover Downs, go right to continue South on Route 13, but only
for the short 0.4 mile distance to bear right onto Alt 13 South (N State St). Bear right just after crossing Silver
Lake with a sharper right onto Walker Road along a black metal fence. Take first left onto W N Bradford Street and park.
Go on foot to Richardson Park.
As you pass thru the gate, do a beeline to the water and
two large trees. One of the trees has a SPOS and Monyloop State Bonus. One might think with the brick retaining
wall and water beyond the bonus had its own moat.

If you parked immediately, you should be headed in the correct direct to
continue down Bradford to turn left onto Governors Blvd heading towards the cemetery. At the stop sign on Governors
Blvd turn right onto N State Street.
You are probably admiring the stately homes, but suggest you watch the
odometer and turn left at 0.3 miles onto Washington, heading for Silver Lake parking lot.
At the far end fo the lot climb the ridge to where it appears
several have tried to depart. Charles Turner made it the furthest. Ten steps to his left, look among the violets
for a Monyloop Park Box.
Are You Feeling Lucky?
Exit the park and back at N State Street go left (S ALt 13) for 0.7 miles
to the stop light at North Street (just after Wilmington Trust). Take that left and pull into the first parking lot
on the right. Consider yourself a visitor! Park near the 'open weave' brick wall.
In the niche where the black locust grows the Delaware Quilt
is tucked in betwen the curved and straight wall sections.
Before you leave the lot, follow the yellow curb and then the yellow wall.
Find "Delaware - First to Ratify" and look in the ivy.
Take a few pictures - like you really meant to be here.

Finishing up here in Heritage Park, you continue South on Alt 13 (South
State Street) -- or just turn left at that stop light. After 2.3 miles you meet Route 13 again, so go South. Take
the second right for ALT 13 (Old Camden Rd) and turn into Brocknock Park. At the rear parking lot - pavilion
an restrooms - you will find a butterfly garden but no box. Head to the Nature Center where the Howell Mill Site
info board will lead you to the Isaac Branch Nature Trail, a one miler, in and out.
At the first Y go left.
At the second Y go left -- taking the high road.
Walk between two blue posts.
Traverse several boardwalks, but the one where the trail goes up incline and curves
left is as far as you have to go. Check the tree at the end of the boardwalk and on the left. You have gone about
0.46 miles or 2,106 steps. If you had read the info about the Howell Mill, you would know that the Isaac Branch Nature
Trail was not named for this exCLUsion Chef.
Are You Feeling Lucky?
Return to your car and exit Brocknock Park going right -- South Alt 13.
At 0.6 miles turn Left onto East Route 10 . . .not so Lucky, if you
get lost.
At 1.5 miles turn Right onto Alt 10 West (South State Street)
At 2.0 miles a quick Left into Tidbury Creek Park - no advance signage.
From the parking lot enter the trail at the two benches and
proceed up hill to upper trail along green chain link. Go only as fas as the lake and take in the view. View all
around until you find the beech tree that was MARRIED 11/25. In its roots a Monyloop State Bonus is
just what the newly weds need. Please wedge the stick back in place to secure box and leaf cover. Return the 0.216
miles or 565 steps back to your car.
Are You Feeling Lucky?
Exit Tidbury Creek Park turning Left on Alt 10. At the light go right
to continue on Alt 10 (in case you missed the sign). In 4.2 miles from Tidbury Creek you should reach that
LUCKY Route 13 again - go South/Left. You will be Driv' In 2.8 miles to the last box.
Look between the brick column and chain link for this Delaware
location.
You have complete a 30 mile drive and if you were LUCKY found 9 boxes.
Consult your map to decide where to go next. Route 12 is just ahead.
