The Life Course is a loop with 20 stations, about 3/4 mile in length.
The Cross-Country Trail is described under Pavilion Phun
Start with the Life Course - you can see the entrance from the Pavilion.
As the path goes from green to pine needles you will soon be entering the Dead Wood
Forest. All neatly in rows, from the rings walk to the 12th aisle on your right. Careful of ground hog holes -- one barked
at Sheba and I at this point. So as you go down the aisle, stop and stand under the arch. A twin tree to the right and a pond
liner covered with needles is the lid for this exCLUsion dish of death. Return to the trail via a different
aisle so as not to create a 'path'.
Continue on, sit up, step up, zig then zag . . . log lift, neck roll, then JUMP 13
steps. A dogwood on the left holds up this exCLUsion Chef.
Finish out your Life with the start of the Cross-Country Trail heading left.
Circle this island of trees stopping at its apex. Take note the cut and fallen trees limbs look like Eddie Kruger's
fingers! Could he be the one who stuffed this exCLUsion Treat in the brick oven sort of left of the
4-trunked maple?
Following the Cross-Country Trail past the compost bins, over the scenic view bridge,
skip
the trail heading left at the sign board -- it is the Pond Side Trail and soon you reach the start of the loopy part of the
C-C Trail. Loop left. Keep going until you reach a piece of rusted farming equipment - thrasher? If exCLUsion
had included Thrasher's Fries . . . you'd find them here. Instead, from back side of the thrasher site 244 degrees and
proceed down hill to a twin tree scissoring a fallen tree. DE State Trees form a backdrop to this scene. On the
backside under the pond liner sleeps an exCLUsion Chef.
